Congrats Dark Angels
Dark Angels got their first win for the season against the Indy Crash with a final score of 6-0.
Indy Crash offense struggled with timing during this game. Several of the starters were out this game due to injuries. Dana Miller came out of retirement and rejoined the team for the reminder of the season. She stepped back into her old position at QB with Lea Kazsas stepping back into RB. The coaches were excited about the idea of having two strong players with great arms and fast legs in the back field. But with less than two full practices as a unit with the current players available the offense struggled with timing and rhythm. Offense promises to be back to their usual tip top performance for the next game.
Indy Crash Defense had no such issues for this game. Anna Wilson came back for her second game of the season after an injury and was on fire providing lots of pressure and created several great group tackles. Trisha Morgan played iron woman this game being both left guard and defensive tackle. This was her best game of the season getting in the back field several times. But the three stars on defense for this game had to be the defensive line backers April Priest, Brittany Langley, and Angelina Furman. All three ladies had several key tackles and lots of hard hits.
The Indy Crash players really need the fans now more than ever before. This loss ended any hope for the Indy Crash for a spot on playoffs. This will be the first time since the Indy Crash team was created that the team did not get into the playoffs. Please come out to cheer the team as they finish off the regular season.
